Jesse Sinatra!
Yes... I have the distict pleasure of knowing Mr. Jesse Sinatra. Actually, we have worked together on various projects for the past 14 years or so. And he has sang at both my weddings... lol
I have heard lots of Sinatra impersonators, and though they may resemble ol' Blue Eyes I can tell you this... Absolutly no one except the original and Jesse Sinatra can make you melt with his voice!
All you have to do is close your eyes, when you listen to jesse, and you are so taken back into time-
What Jesse does that is so darn cute in his act is that he incorporates this genra of well known faces with the original songs of the booze culture singing the songs of Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Jerome Kern etc. from as far back as 1926.
The interesting thing I have noticed is that even the babies today, the 20 somethings appreciate his retro style- We were just at a wedding for a younge couple in their 20's- and they hired jesse for the dinner music. What happened was, jesse was more popular than the D.J.... getting more request's through out the night. It seems peeps both younge and old can't get enough of great live music!
